La rana traviesa.
The mischievous frog.
B - Mba'e oiko ko' ápe? [señalando la escena de la página 1]
Qué pasó aquí?
What happened here?
C5 - Oho párkepe iñamigo kuérandi[ve], ju'i opo, osẽ oho maripósare.
Fue al parque con sus amigos, la rana saltó, salió y se fué por la mariposa.
It went to the park with its friends. The frog jumped out, left, and went after the butterfly.
B - Mba'égui opo ju'i?
De dónde saltó la rana?
Where did the frog jump from?
C5 - Váldegui.
Del balde.
The bucket.

Y sus amigos le vieron?
And did its friends see?

And then what happened?

It said goodbye to them, and the boy, the dog, and the turtle didn't see the frog.

Se cayó, le picó la avispa, se hinchó. La avispa le mordió.
It fell, the wasp stung it, it swelled. The wasp bit it.

Where did the frog go after?

Vio a la señora con su canasto.
It saw the woman with her basket.

Dijo la señora: “cómo se mueve mi canasto!”, y la rana se prendió de la mano de la señora, se asustó.
The woman said: “my basket is moving!” and the frog stuck to the woman's hand. She was scared.

Who was scared?

La señora y le hizo volar a la rana.
The woman and she sent the frog flying.

Vio la rana a un niño que jugaba por su bote [con su bote] y saltó al bote del niño. [La rana] Se cayó al bote del niño y [el bote] se hundió.
The frog saw a boy playing at his boat [with his boat] and jumped onto the boy's boat. [The frog] Fell onto the boy's boat and [the boat] sank.

El niño le gritó a su madre, su madre entró al agua le sacó su bote, el niño lloraba y la rana les vigilaba a ellos.
The boy shouted to his mother, his mother went into the water and took out the boat. The boy cried and the frog watched them.

Where did the frog go after?
C5 - Ohecha peteĩ karríto, peteĩ kuñakarai ha peteĩ mbarakaja. Opo ju'i kuñakarai karrítope ha mbarakaja ohechakuua oikótava.
Vio un carrito, una señora y un gato. Saltó la rana al carrito de la señora y el gato se dio cuenta de lo que iba a pasar.
It saw a baby carriage, a woman and a cat. The frog jumped onto the woman's carriage and the cat realized what was going to happen.

El gato vio, saltó por el bebé pequeño y la rana agarró el biberón. Después el gato le corrió a la rana y el niño lloró.
The cat saw, jumped for the baby and the frog grabbed the baby bottle. Then the cat ran at the frog and the boy cried.

Y ahí, qué vemos?
And there, what do we see?
C5 - Ojagarra la mbarakaja la ju' i py ha ojopy chupe la ijajúrape porque ipochy la mbarakaja.
Agarró el gato el pie de la rana y le apretó su cuello porque se enojó el gato.
The cat grabbed the frog's foot and squeezed its neck because the cat was mad.

Y luego?
What then?
C5 - Ju'i akãhatã ou ha oĩ upépe tortuga, jagua ha mitã.
La rana traviesa vino y estaban ahí la tortuga, el perro y el niño.
The mischievous frog came and the turtle, the dog, and the boy were there.
B - Ha mba'e ojapo hikuái mbarakajáre?
Y qué le hicieron al gato?
And what did they do to the cat?
C5 - Omondýi, osalva hag̃ua ju'ípe.
Le asustaron, para salvarle a la rana.
They scared it, to save the frog.

And how does our story end?
