Pini y Kuri'i vivían en el Chaco y ahí el sol es muy caliente, como para quemarnos. Luego se perdieron y por el camino encontraron tunas y se quedaron a comer. En ese momento escucharon el ruido de un camión y se escondieron detrás de un árbol para espiar, vieron el camión y estaban mirando desde su escondite. Veían cómo el señor hacheaba el árbol y tenían demasiado miedo. Quedate acá, vamos a buscar un hoyo para escondernos le dijo Pini a Kuri'i y Kuri'i le dijo: no, yo tengo demasiado miedo, quedémonos aqui nomas a espiar.
