C23 - Ju'i akãhatã oho peteĩ mitã'índi[ve], peteĩ jagua ha peteĩ tortuguítandi[ve], upéi ha'e [refiriéndose a la rana] opo ha mitã'i ha jagua omaña maripósare ha oheja chupe hikuái. Ha'e [señalando la rana en la escena de la página] omboadio mitã'ipe ha juaguápe.
La rana traviesa iba con un niño, un perro y una tortuguita, luego ella [señalando la rana en la escena de la página 4] saltó y el niño y el perro miraban mariposas y ellos le dejaron. Ella [la rana] les hacía adiós al niño y al perro.
The mischievous frog was going with a boy, a dog and a turtle, then it [pointing at the frog in the scene on page 4] jumped and the boy and the dog were looking at butterflies and they left it. It [the frog] said goodbye to the boy and the dog.

And then, what happened?

Y la rana tenía hambre y quería cazar un bichito y agarró uno y comió, agarró un bichito que estaba por la flor, comió y se asustó y se cayó. Había sido era avispa y le pico en su lengua.
And the frog was hungry and wanted to hunt a bug and it caught one and ate [it], caught a bug that was on the flower, it ate [it] and got scared and fell over. It was a wasp and it stung it on its tongue.

And then, where did it go?

Then it went to see a woman and a man, they were going to have a picnic and this one [indicating the frog in the scene on page 10] was watching them and then the frog jumped into the basket and then this man [indicating the man in the scene on page 11] drank the thing and the woman was sitting down and making the picnic.

And then, what happened?
C23 - Ha upéi la kuña opo'ẽ la kánastope ha osẽ la ipóre la ju'i ha oñemondýi tuchaite[re]i hikuái. Kuñakarai omombo hese la ihárro ha karai opuka hese.
Después la mujer metió la mano en el canasto y salió sobre la mano la rana y era demasiado grande; se asustaron mucho ellos. La señora le tiró su jarro y el señor se reía de ella.
Then the woman stuck her hand in the basket and the frog came out on her hand and it was really big; it frightened them a lot. The woman threw her pitcher at it and the man was laughing at her.

Luego la rana miró un botecito y un niño. Acá está su mamá [señala la mujer en la escena de la página 8] y la rana saltó sobre barquito y el niño se asustó demasiado grande y lloró. Vino su mamá y le sacó el barquito del agua y la rana le miraba.
Then the frog looked at a toy boat and a boy. Here was his mom [indicates the woman in the scene on page 8] and the frog jumped onto the toy boat and the boy got really scared and cried. His mom came and took the toy boat out of the water and the frog watched her.
Uperire katu ju'i ohecha ko'ápe [señala la escena de la página 12] oĩ peteĩ bebe'i, ápe oĩ la isý [señala la mujer] ha ápe oĩ míchi [señala el gato] ha la ju'i opo ha míchi ohecha chupe. Kuñakarai o[gue]nohẽ la biberon ha ome'ẽ ju'ípe ha míchi omangea hese. Ju'i ho'u la kamby ha bebe'i ipochy. Ju'i ogueraha la biberon ha omuña chupe míchi. Kuñakarai oñemondýi ha bebe'i hasẽ.
Después sique la rana vio que acá [señala la escena de la página 12] había un bebé, acá está su mamá [señala la mujer] y acá está el gato [señala el gato] y la rana saltó y el gato le vió. La señora sacó el biberón y le dió a la rana y el gato le estaba espiando. La rana tomó la leche y el bebé se enfadó, la rana llevó el biberón y el gato le corrió. La señora se asustó y el bebé lloró.
Then the frog saw that here [indicates the scene on page 12] there was a baby, here was his mom [points at the woman] and here is the cat [point at the cat] and the frog jumped and the cat saw it. The woman took out the baby bottle and gave it to the frog and the cat was watching it. The frog took the milk and the baby got angry, the frog took the bottle and the cat ran it away. The woman got scared and the baby cried.

Then, what happened?

Luego el gato le agarró de su pie [señala la rana en la escena de la página 18)] y le tiró al suelo y después el perro le ladró al gato para salvarle a la rana. Después el niño le llevó a la rana sobre su brazo y nuevamente se fueron todos juntos.
Then the cat grabbed its leg [indicates the frog in the scene on page 18] and threw it to the ground and then the dog barked at the cat to save the frog. Then the boy carried the frog on his arm and they all went off again together.
