La rana traviesa.

The mischievous frog.

Iban todos juntos y la rana se lanzó del balde.

They were all going together and the frog jumped into the bucket.

What then?

C10 - Ohecha bichito'i, cháu ojapo la mitã'i ha la jaguápe.

Vio bichitos, y les hizo chau al niño y al perro.

It saw bugs, and it said bye to the boy and the dog.

B - Ha upéi, mba'e ojapo ju'i?

Y después, qué hizo la rana?

And then, what did the frog do?

C10 - Ohecha bichito'i ha ho'u peteĩ káva; ojopi chupe ikũme ha iruru.

Vio bichitos y comió una avispa; le picó en la lengua y se hinchó.

It saw bugs and ate a wasp; the wasp stung its tongue and it swelled.

Y luego dónde llegó la rana?

And then where did the frog go?

C10 - Oĩháme peteĩ kanásta, kuñakarai ha karai ha oñemondýi hikuái. Kuñakarai omoinge la ipo kanástape ha oñandu oku'évaRelativizer. Ju'i oñaprende ipóre.

Dónde había una canasta, la señora y el señor se asustaron. La señora metió su mano en la canasta y sintió que se movía. La rana se prendió por su mano.

Where there was a basket, the woman and the man got scared. The woman put her hand into the basket and felt something moving. The frog grabbed onto her hand.

And what happened then?

C10 - Oñemombo la ju'i, oho omangea mitã'i bárcore.

Se tiró la rana, se fue a espiar el barco de un niño.

The frog jumped out, it went to watch a boy's boat.

Y luego?

What then?

C10 - Upéi oñemombo la bárcope ha hasẽ la mitã'i; isy ojepoi ýpe oheka haguãIrrealis 'ha' Subordinator la barco ha ju'i omangea hesekuéra. Upéi oho oĩhápe peteĩ karríto, oĩ bebe'i ha ju'i oñemombo ha opillapaite chupe la mbarakaja.

Luego se lanzó al barco y el niño lloró, su mamá se bajó al agua para buscar el barco y la rana les espiaba. Después se fue donde había un carrito, estaba un bebé pequeño y la rana se tiró y el gato le pilló todito.

Then it jumped on the boat and the boy cried, his mom went down to the water to look for the boat and the frog watched them. Then it went to where a carriage was, there was a baby and the frog jumped and the cat caught it all.

Y el gato quería comerse a la rana, subió al carrito y después le corrió; le agarró de la pierna y le apretó.

The cat wanted to eat the frog, it climbed into the carriage and then ran after it; it grabbed its leg and squeezed it.

What then?

Y luego sus amigos le defendieron.

Then its friends defended it.

Y a la rana; el perro le ladró al gato.

The frog; the dog barked at the cat.

Y cómo terminó?

And how did it end?

C10 - Oho oñondivepa, ju'i oho mitã jyva ári.

Fueron todos juntos, la rana sobre el brazo del niño.

They all went off together, the frog on the boy's arm.
